Jaime Gutierrez, Esq. born in East Los Angeles, raised throughout Southern California. He is a prominent Civil Rights Attorney, based in Los Angeles, who practices Federal Civil Rights throughout the Southwest United States, particularily in the areas of police and border patrol brutality. He graduated with a Bachelors in Chicano Studies from the University of California @ Berkeley and acquired a Jurist Doctorate from New College of California, School of Law (San Francisco). Mr. Gutierrez began his life long career in social justice the United Farmworkers AFL-CIO (1986-88), where he worked directly with Cesar E. Chavez and Dolores Huerta, under legendary Crops Division director Ben Maddox. Mr. Gutierrez is considered to be a patron of Chicano Art, as a collector, producer of plays, legal counsel, social coordinator, etc... He and a group of other four Chicanos started Cine Sin Fin: the Annual East Los Angeles Chicana/o Film Festival in 1995.
